Secure Online Access & Physical Data security
- We use the strongest encryption available for all online banking sessions to better protect your personal information on the Internet.
- Firewalls, intrusion detection, and around-the-clock network monitoring also help ensure your information is protected.
- Security Tip: Remember to check for security features before you make a purchase or share sensitive information over the Internet – look for https:// in the web address and a lock image (example:
 ) in the lower right hand corner, indicating the web page is using a security certificate to encrypt the information you submit.
Strong Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) & Challenge Questions for Online Banking
- We require a combination of at least six letters and numbers for your Online Banking PIN to make your PIN harder for fraudsters to “guess” or “crack.”
- We require Online Banking users to establish and answer three unique Challenge Questions, which can be asked online at any time to make sure that you – and only you – are accessing your account.
- Security Tips:
- Avoid using personal information as your PIN, change your PIN frequently (every 90 days is recommended), don’t disclose your PIN to another person or allow it to be saved on your computer.
- Update your PIN and Challenge Questions at your convenience within Online Banking.
Call Center Passwords for Telephone Assistance
- We encourage you to set up an optional Call Center Password – a word or phrase you associate with your Ent account – to verify your identity when you contact us by phone.
- Stop by any Ent Service Center to set up your Call Center Password. Or, set it up at your convenience within Online Banking.
Verified by Visa® Passwords for Your Ent Check Card
- We encourage you to set up an optional Verified by Visa Password on your check card to provide an additional level of security for your online check card purchases.
Participating merchants can verify that you – and only you – are making an online check card purchase by asking for your Verified by Visa Password during the online purchase process. Set up a Verified by Visa password on your check card by visiting Ent.com/Verified.

- We have partnered with Identity Fraud, Inc. to provide valuable identity protection programs at a reduced rate.
